MP Lighting is pleased to introduce our New Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States - Gene Kotze. Gene joins MP Lighting with over 10 years of diverse lighting experience. She started her career in theatrical lighting which included stage production shows, live broadcast shows, media events and set designs. She then joined an electrical engineering firm as an Architectural Lighting Designer and worked on a wide range of projects including commercial towers, casinos, hotels, hospitals, universities, airports and landscapes. Gene also has experience working as a Specification Sales Manager. Gene is Lighting Certified by the NCQLP, an Associate Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers and a Professional Member of the Illuminating Engineering Society. She also served as a Board Member for the IES Vancouver Section and the IES Illumination Awards Chair for two years. She continues to volunteer and be an active member in the lighting community. Gene is passionate about lighting and enthusiastic about joining the MP Lighting team. She will be responsible for covering the North and South Western US regions.
